AutoCAD Full Crack is an idealized 3D drawing program because it allows users to see and modify model geometry at the same time. Object visibility, also called rendering, is provided by viewing windows or layers. Viewing windows are areas on the screen that automatically update to show the content of a drawing object, while the visibility of a drawing object can be manipulated by drawing layers. Each drawing object in a drawing file can be assigned to one or more layers, each of which can be set to one of four visibility states: visible, hidden, restricted, or uninvisible. A layer is always assigned to a drawing object.
Layers are a way of keeping a design focused or generalizing a design, by hiding extraneous geometry that isn’t relevant to that layer. A layer also means that designers can pick and choose which geometry they want to see in their drawing. A layer doesn’t affect the design of a drawing; it is merely a means to control its content.
While a layer acts as a simple toggle for the visibility of a drawing object, it also can act as a filter or sort. Layers can be used to hide objects that fall outside a predetermined region, such as the profile of a vehicle, or to hide a specific set of objects, such as all mechanical objects. It can also be used to easily show and hide entire groups of objects. A good example of this is the freehand drawing of a wireframe model. The model can be divided into multiple layers and each layer can be set to be either visible or hidden, which provides a way of creating a wireframe view of the design.
Many people may assume that the model in the drawing is a single 3D object. However, in AutoCAD, it is possible to have multiple pieces of geometry represented by one drawing file. This is referred to as a MultiModel. Any geometric feature or object defined in a MultiModel can be updated at any time by viewing other objects in the same drawing. This enables one to update any object in a drawing at any time, keeping the drawing current for multiple users or models.
